Steve Giovinco photographs intimate and emotional relations between couples. I have always been interested in exploring psychological private moments. 

I earned my MFA in photography from Yale University in 1989, and a BA in history from Washington University in 1982.

My photographs have been exhibited in solo museum and gallery shows in New York and the United States, and my work have been in groups shows in North America and Europe with Jeff Wall, Sam Taylor Wood and others.  Many museums have collected my work, and shows have been reviewed in Art in America and other publications.
